Big images, beautiful vistas and compelling narratives that showcase the natural beauty of surrounding the resorts and their unique locales, in order to engage visitors and excite them about all they could be doing on their next vacation.
We visited select resort locations, spent time learning from staff and visitors, and used that research to inform our strategic approach to design the customer experience. Our designers developed a unified visual system to enable rich digital experiences for the larger high-end resorts, and a simplified version for their family-friendly affordable options, and everything in between.
These diverse experiences are built on top of Sitecore’s component-based, content management system, with each website re-skinned to take on the look of the local resort. All sites share the same component library reducing development effort to design and launch additional sites. In addition, each site is fitted with optional tools and functionality to give the properties unique visitors a custom experience, such as a "packages and special offers" tool with robust filtering, calendar of events, and social media galleries (view a case study here). Delaware North now has complete flexibility for updating, expanding, testing and managing content locally, while allowing the larger organization to manage everything within a single CMS platform.
