Join Delphic in congratulating our Digital Web Development Director Brian Mercer on achieving the coveted Sitecore® Most Valuable Professionals Award for 2013. It’s no surprise to us that Brian is special, but the Sitecore MVP distinction leapfrogs him into a truly elite group of 41 other worldwide winners selected from more than 5,000 certified Sitecore developers and 15,000 worldwide community participants.
Delphic principals Mark Patten and Lance Hollander received news of Brian’s award just before an internal company meeting in January where they surprised him with the news.
Candidates for the Sitecore MVP award are evaluated for the quality, quantity and level of impact of their contributions to using Sitecore and to the Sitecore community.
According to the Sitecore announcement, “The Sitecore MVP Award celebrates the most active Sitecore community members from around the world who provide invaluable online and offline expertise that enriches the community experience and makes a difference.”
As a certified Sitecore developer since 2008 and lead technical architect, Brian has driven recent Sitecore initiatives for Delphic clients such as Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Sunrise Senior Living, Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, among others.
As a Sitecore MVP, Brian not only gets bragging rights around the office, he will receive privileged access to Sitecore software, network, forums and other resources, enabling him to further his contribution to the community, and back to Delphic clients, at a higher level. High fives for everyone!
From the whole team at Delphic Digital, congrats to Brian on his career accomplishment of being named a Sitecore MVP!
