We are excited to announce the launch of SunriseSeniorLiving.com in Responsive Design – the design approach that optimizes for whatever device visitors use to navigate a website, from desktop, to tablet, to smartphone.
This project required heavy lifting from our Front-End development team as each type of view (desktop, tablet, mobile) called for a different set of CSS rules. Our Q/A team also handled an extra-large workload – not only viewing each page of this large site in multiple browsers (our standard Q/A), but also reviewing on multiple tablets and smartphones – quite the task. Luckily we at Delphic Digital love our handheld devices – they were put to good use with this project!
Speaking of smartphones, our back-end developers often whipped out their Samsung Galaxy S3’s to check their coding updates and our design team created comps that looked beautiful in all views, including the iPhone’s Retina Display. It was fun to use our personal devices for work.
One of the reasons I love working at Delphic Digital is that we’re constantly asking, “What does the data tell us?” as we solve problems and make smart marketing decisions. To help answer that question, our Analytics & Optimization team created and implemented an Analytics Requirements Document (ARD) detailing each item we’re measuring through Analytics, from the “Find a Community” button on the homepage to the marketing promos on each community – and everything in between. My client and I are both excited to see the results of these efforts.
Check out www.sunriseseniorliving.com on your iPhone 5 (or 4, or 4s), iPad (or Kindle), Macbook, or… well, you get the idea. Happy viewing!
