Delphic is excited to host PhillyCHI on Thursday, May 21st, for some happy hours at Manayunk Brewery. We’re serious about digital chops and eager to talk to like-minded folks, so come and enjoy some drinks on beautiful Main Street and talk shop while finally enjoying spring! We’ll be there from 6-9pm.
What’s PhillyCHI? PhillyCHI is the Philadelphia region’s chapter of the ACM SIGCHI, an interdisciplinary academic and professional group interested in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience, Usability, and other related disciplines. PhillyCHI holds monthly meetings and socials (like this one) to network and discuss current topics in HCI.
Interested now? Great! The happy hour is going to be at Manayunk Brewery (also known as the Brew Pub). Why Manayunk? Because this is the eclectic neighborhood that Delphic calls home. Accessible by car, bus, train, bike and Uber, this once sleepy, bar-centric river town is now bustling with new restaurants, shops and businesses. Manayunk may soon also be known as the town to break a record from the Guinness Book of World Records, on “Manayunk Play” day.
Now, about this Happy Hour, did I mention free drinks? Yes, Delphic will be picking up the tab for members from 6-8 p.m. Not yet a member? Want to be one? No problem. Sign up and get involved in PhillyCHI.
Don’t forget to sign up over here on Facebook. See you at the Brew Pub!
