When Brooke was a little girl, she wanted to be a wizard, just like her favorite fictional character, Gandalf. Luckily for Brooke, a Business Analyst and a wizard really aren’t too different – it takes magic to strategize exciting solutions for client web projects, elicit business requirements and document them in an organized manner, and map out technical architecture that doesn’t sacrifice vision or budget.
“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us,” Gandalf is known for saying. With triple B.A. degrees in English, Comparative Literature, and Japanese from Penn State, a Masters Certification in Business Analysis from Villanova, a Google Analytics certification, and a slew of online coding courses, Brooke has attempted to “do it all” from an early age. Before getting into the digital agency world, Brooke spent a year teaching and translating in Tokyo, Japan. If asked what Japanese and computer programming languages have in common, Brooke will delightfully tell you – “they all rely on proper context and syntax – just another puzzle to solve! Isn’t it awesome?”
Besides fluency in Japanese, Brooke has a professional background in Sitecore, Quality Assurance, and User Experience. When she’s not saving Middle Earth from archaic websites, you will likely find her leading games of Dungeons & Dragons, playing ultimate frisbee with the Philadelphia Area Disc Alliance, and making her own homemade herbal products.
